Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction
BTTC Infrastructure Limited (“BTTC”) is a professional services company specialising in management consultancy, procurement and supply chain management, project management, commercial management, and collaborative behavioural training and development across the UK and overseas infrastructure markets.
BTTC Infrastructure Limited operates as our UK-based company and is wholly owned by BTTC Holdings Limited. Since 2024, BTTC Holdings Limited has been wholly owned by Cumming Europe Limited, following the merger of BTTC and Cumming Group to facilitate the organisation’s growth and expansion.
Purpose
The purpose of this statement is to outline BTTC’s commitment to the elimination of modern slavery and to demonstrate our compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“the Act”).
BTTC adopts a robust, zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking and is fully committed to ensuring that no such practices occur within our company or supply chain.
Our Policy
We are committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. It is our policy to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our operations or supply chain.
We expect all employees, associates, and suppliers to share this commitment and to comply fully with relevant legislation. Our policies and processes — including any updates — are communicated to all affected parties.
We are committed to investigating any complaints or concerns regarding suspected human trafficking or slavery in connection with our business and will take prompt and appropriate remedial action where necessary.
Staff Training
Training on the Modern Slavery Act forms a mandatory part of the induction process for all new employees.
All staff are required to complete refresher training every two years to ensure continued awareness and compliance with the Act.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain consists of:
Sub-consultants who provide professional services to BTTC, and
Suppliers who provide goods and/or services in support of our operations.
We take the following steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain:
1. Pre-qualification and Due Diligence
All new sub-consultants and suppliers must complete our pre-qualification process before registration and payment.
This process includes specific questions regarding compliance with modern slavery legislation.
We are in the process of registering all existing sub-consultants and suppliers through this system to ensure consistent, up-to-date assurances of compliance.
2. Contractual Safeguards
Our standard contractual terms require all third parties to conduct their business in full compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and related legislation.
