BTTC provided procurement expertise for the HS2 Old Oak Common station project, the UK's largest new railway station in over a century, managing the complex procurement process for railway systems work spanning 2.5km along the Great Western Main Line. BTTC led the formulation of the Main Contract PQQ and ITT processes while coordinating 15 subject matter experts, established governance frameworks and dashboard reporting to stakeholders including HS2 and Network Rail, and managed comprehensive risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle. BTTC strategically procured critical subcontractors for program-essential packages, developed key performance indicators, alliance charters, and collaboration frameworks while ensuring value for money and accuracy across all procurement activities. The company's expertise enabled seamless integration with DfT, HS2, and NR governance requirements for this critical infrastructure connecting London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester via high-speed rail services.
