AUSTIN LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT

COLLABORATIVE BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT

$7 BILLION USD

Urban scene with people waiting at a train station, two modern trains on either side, a cyclist riding, trees and a tall clock tower in the background, clear blue sky.

BTTC was appointed to provide Collaborative Behavioural Assessments as part of the procurement of a Delivery Partner for the $7bn USD Austin Light Rail Project. In a first-time setting, we successfully applied a repeatable framework, adapting our model to align with U.S. procurement practices. We trained evaluators to confidently score behaviours in a controlled and consistent manner and ensured all RFP documentation clearly articulated requirements. Evaluation reports were supported with behavioural data, and all documentation was auditable and aligned to assurance standards. Through this process, BTTC’s services provided a robust and transparent approach, strengthening overall procurement and enabling Austin Transit Partners to successfully appoint a qualified Delivery Partner to support their ambitious plans for the evolution of Austin’s public transit system.
